Davision CofE School for Girls Projects
These are projects written by Year 9 (KS3) students at Davison
CofE High School for Girls. The students chose a serviceman from
names on the local memorial, or were able to research a relative
who had taken part in the Great War.
These 14 examples show the high standard of work which can be
produced through making the study of the First World War more
relevant by choosing a real local person or family member.
We are grateful to Head of History, Rebecca Martin and
colleagues for supplying the background teaching documents and to
the girls whose work was selected for giving us permission to make
them available online.
