In this section of the website, you can read case studies about individuals and topics related to West Sussex in the Great War written by project volunteers and other authors who have contributed their work.

An Index to people recorded in the local newspapers is also available. Compiled by project volunteers, over 14,000 individuals have been indexed from contemporary newspapers. The index is arranged alphabetically.

If you are interested in finding out more about an entry listed in the index you can view digital copies of the newspapers at Worthing Library, Crawley Library, West Sussex Record Office. Some smaller libraries also have digital copies of those newspapers relevant to their area.
