
Doreen Norris
Doreen Norris was 8 when the war started and lived in
London. She was evacuated to Worthing at the start of the war and
stayed there until she was 21. She went to Davison's High School
during the war. Doreen remembers there weren't many sweets because
of rationing. She also remembers German Prisoners of War doing
horticultural work nearby.
