The Schools Library Service supplies many thousands of
lending books as 'Project Loans' to support learning in primary
schools each year. Our supporting
document below offers a downloadable and printable
booklist of titles on the Victorian period in general.
The 36 public libraries in West Sussex County Council Library
Service hold over 15,000 Local Studies titles. Every
library has lending and reference books with information on the
Victorian period in Sussex, which may be borrowed or referred to
free of charge.
Chichester, Crawley and Worthing reference libraries have the
largest collections, with comprehensive, countywide Local Studies
