About The Great War West Sussex 1914-18
The content of these web pages was compiled by Heritage Project
Manager, Emma White and County Local Studies Librarian, Martin
Hayes.
Archivists at West Sussex Record Office, particularly Alan
Readman and Matthew Jones, provided a great deal of assistance and
expertise.
The website itself was constructed by West Sussex County
Council’s Online Service Delivery Team, particularly Paul Beattie
and Melissa Goddard. The Learning Resources for Teachers were
compiled by Richard McFahn, educational consultant.
West Sussex County council is very grateful to the Heritage
Lottery Fund which supplied nearly 95% of the funding costs.
